Project Presentation to Students and Teaching Staff

On Saturday, 25th April 2026, a presentation of the project Interactive Learning: Digital Competencies for Innovative Culture (iL-DC4IC) was held at the University North in Varaždin as part of the Science Festival under the theme Energy of Entrepreneurial Ideas.

The project presentation took place in the Council Hall UNIN3-209, where participants were introduced to the project objectives, research activities, members of the research team and the results achieved. Special emphasis was placed on the interdisciplinary approach connecting digital competencies, interactive learning, culture and innovative technologies.

During the event, the project logo and dissemination activities were presented, with particular attention dedicated to the establishment of open science practices through the project e-repository. Furthermore, the research results achieved during the first six months of the project implementation, as well as research activities related to the doctoral dissertations of project team members were presented.

As part of the programme, assistant professor Jadranko Tuta, PhD delivered a short presentation entitled “Immersive Experience”, during which he shared his experiences of applying virtual reality (VR) technologies in research activities at the University of Defence and Security “Dr. Franjo Tuđman”. The project team also introduced the concept of citizen science and the possibilities for involving the wider community in project activities and dissemination processes.

The event concluded with an open discussion and networking session, including an exchange of ideas on the application of digital technologies and immersive approaches in education, research and culture.

The iL-DC4IC project is focused on the research of interactive learning, digital competences and innovative approaches to culture, with an emphasis on interdisciplinarity, the development of digital methodologies and the connection of education, technology and creative industries.
